At the age of 6, Emily developed a keen interest in the piano. Her grade one teacher had a beautiful white grand piano in her classroom and would play songs for the students. She began teaching Emily during lunch breaks and from that point on, Emily loved playing piano.

Emily went on to successfully complete the Grade 8 Practical and Theory Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) exams under the tutelage of her wonderful piano teacher.

Creative Keys With Emily was born shortly afterward. Emily has been teaching piano for 4.5 years as an RCM-certified teacher. In that time, she has prepared several students for RCM exams, developed a teaching method that's both informative and fun, and taught many kids and adults alike.
